LisaMarie Smith Becomes President of Ellevate NC Triangle Chapter

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — LisaMarie Enterprises LLC is proud to announce that its CEO, LisaMarie Smith, is now serving as President of Ellevate’s North Carolina Triangle Chapter after serving as founding co-president this past year.

“My role as chapter President is to continue developing a chapter that is truly a networking leader, not only within Ellevate but also within the Triangle professional community,” said Smith.

Ellevate is a global women’s networking organization that promotes the role of women in business through connecting, educating, and investing in them. UNC alumna Sallie Krawcheck is founding Owner and Chair of the Ellevate network and is known as one of the leading women of Wall Street.

Ellevate’s NC Triangle Chapter also holds events in conjunction with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to form relationships with current students by providing networking opportunities for them while they are still in school. Its next event will be Leadership Learnings from Female Founders and Funders, on February 11th.
“Under Sallie’s [Krawcheck] direction, the NC Triangle chapter will provide a truly home-grown opportunity that raises the caliber of networking in Chapel Hill,” said Smith.

Smith is a transition strategist who partners with high achieving individuals to manage the chaos and consequences of profound personal and professional change and transition. Her proprietary In Conversation™ model allows for individualized collaboration with clients in the management of these changes. “The In Conversation approach is designed to be more dialogue oriented rather than pre-scripted, tailoring the conversation to the needs of the client,” said Smith.

LisaMarie hosted her first event as President on January 21st, and will be holding her signature seminar, Change and Transition: Navigating the Chaos and Consequences of Change, on February 17th at the Frontier Building at Research Triangle Park.
